The Royal Game of the Goose is considered the first commercially produced modern board game. Originating in 15th-century Italy, it became a staple of European high society and evolved from an adult gambling pastime into a flexible, thematic template that inspired centuries of subsequent board games.

The game is close to the original using available materials. Game includes 11"x14" game board,75 tokens, 6 geese game pieces, two wood dice and dice shaker.
